Designed for musical sequencing, Orbital Sequencer follows Ableton Live’s transport, locks to Live’s tempo, and works in both Session View and Arrangement View. It generates MIDI notes, so simply place it before any synth, sampler, drum rack, or software instrument and start building patterns immediately. The device includes free-running Orbit Mode for phrases that breathe and stretch naturally, along with Rhythmic Mode for locking the active steps to 1, 2, 4, or 8 bar phrase lengths. You can randomize duration, velocity, pitch, or octave values within controlled ranges, use key and scale settings to keep everything musical, and quickly shift the entire pattern with global octave and speed controls.
